Miss Gillian Pritchett has collaborated closely with me on several of my papers during the past three years. The work she has performed for me includes: the transcription and editing of the recordings of a conference on social sciences with speakers in French and English; the translation of texts from French to English, and the revision of a substantial book on the police and security forces (over 400 pages) that I wrote in English.

Gillian has a fabulous eye for detail, and is an excellent editor - she thoroughly reviewed my book manuscript and picked up on typos that had slipped through and gave helpful pointers on how to phrase some sentences better. She also provided really valuable suggestions for the structure and to hold the hand of the reader a little more, rather than making conceptual leaps that are obvious to me as an expert. Even though I thought I had broken things down for the reader there were a few cases where more explanation was very helpful.
